Hello everyone,
I have not blogged in a lonnnnnng time and I am not going to keep you too long. I just wanted to let you all know that I am still here. I hope to get back on track to share various thoughts with you that are hopefully insightful, uplifting, gentle, kind, true, and all that.
As for as 2020 is concerned, my resolution is to come out of the box, like one of my favorite childhood television shows. I have to come out and write the book I started and restarted since 2011. I have to come out of the box to speak my mind. I have to come out of the box to provide content on various platforms to bring my talents into fruition. I have to come out of the box by not being afraid of attention.
So what is this box? It is a trap that I may have set for myself that said “This is who you are, this is what others expect from you, do no more or less than this, because that will be uncomfortable for you and others. You don’t want others to think you’ve changed do you? You don’t want people to think you think you are holier than though do you? You don’t want to intimidate people do you? Just who do you think that you are? Stay in the box!”
Well, I have been wound up enough and it is time for me to pop out! If you haven’t before, Mali Music has a song called Jack in the Box! The lyrics are just right for this reference.
