Thirty Before 31

Allow me to share 30 brief lessons, quotes, or whatever you choose to call them that I have learned in my almost 31 years in no particular order.

1. God comes first.
2. Remember to breathe.
3. Set Boundaries.
4. Forgiveness is for you.
5. Be content.
6. How people treat others says more about the person than the others.
7. Don’t loose yourself in gaining someone else.
8. “Good better best, never let it rest until your good is better and your better is your best.”
9. It’s okay not to have an opinion.
10. “Start where you are, use what you have, do what you can.”
11. It’s worth waiting for.
12. Love is a verb.
13. Being trapped in your mind can be worse than prison.
14. “The outcome is, I overcome.”
15. It’s okay to start over.
16. Treat yourself how you want to be treated.
17. “Don’t sweat criticism from someone you wouldn’t seek advice from.”
18. Laughter is the best medicine.
19. Consistency is key.
20. “Never grow weary in doing good”.
21. Emotions are controllable.
22. Everyday is a special occasion.
23. Be free.
24. “The new dawn blooms as we free it, for there is always light, if only we are brave enough to see, if only we’re brave enough to be it.”
